Lazarenko Kapitolina

Kapitolina Lazarenko received initial musical education in Makhachkala in 1943. Still during the World War II she began professional work in various bands. In 1956 Utesov introduced her as soloist of his orchestra. Later she used to work also with Eddie Rosner orchestra and David Ashkenazy.
Her true name is rumoured to be "KapitAlina" after Karl Marx book "Das Kapital.
